This card and picture
were provided from WW2 letters of J. Blaine Siglin, Jim
Siglin's Dad. At the end of 1943 the 11th Div
was training for Desert operations in the Mojave Desert
- "... sand got in gears & ears". Siglin's unit was
Troop A, 41st Cavalry Reconnaissance, 11th Armored
Division. After completing training in California they
were shipped to Britain in September 1944. They crossed
to France in December 1944 and joined the Third Army
response to the Battle of the Bulge. Then on to Germany,
finally meeting Russian forces in May 1945.
Mack Trucks Historical Museum Curator Position
The current curator of the Mack Trucks Historical
Museum will be retiring. There will be an opening for this position
in December of 2015. Anyone that is interested in the curator

"goodies" we sent to her in Kosovo where her unit of the 25th
Division (PA National Guard) is supporting NATO forces. Her pics
